Tara Dwyer, the Vice President of Portfolio Operations at Blue Harbor Management, joined the firm in 2023. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the operations of all properties within the Blue Harbor Management portfolio. With more than 20 years of experience in the marine operations industry, Tara brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her position.

Before joining Blue Harbor Management, Tara held a senior leadership position at Hinckley Yacht Services (The Hinckley Company), a luxury brand yacht builder and service provider. Her time at The Hinckley Company provided her with valuable expertise in the industry, specifically in areas such as yacht building, sales, and service. Before that, Tara spent over fifteen years at Kingman Yacht Center, overseeing diverse business segments as an operations executive.

Tara Dwyer’s qualifications include a BBA Degree in Business Administration from Curry College and Lean Six Sigma training, which further strengthens her understanding of process improvement and operational efficiency. Her extensive industry experience and her Lean Six Sigma expertise make her a highly capable leader in her role at Blue Harbor Management. With a focus on continuous improvement and streamlining operations, Tara is well-equipped to drive effective and efficient processes within the company’s portfolio.

Josalyn Claussen has been a noteworthy marketing leader within the marina and hospitality industries for over 15 years.  As part of the dynamic team at Blue Harbor Management, Josalyn plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that elevate brand visibility, foster customer acquisition, and nurture customer loyalty across the Blue Harbor Management portfolio.

Josalyn embarked on her marina marketing journey as she managed the day-to-day marketing operations at Yacht Haven Grande in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Her dedication and expertise led her to the helm of the marketing department at Suntex Marinas, where she implemented a highly successful marketing and communication initiative spanning 45 marinas throughout the United States. Prior to joining Blue Harbor Management, Josalyn made significant strides as she spearheaded the marketing department at Southern Marinas, overseeing marketing strategy for their start-up marina group and the acquisition of 21 marinas and resorts.

With her extensive experience in crafting integrated marketing programs tailored for marinas and waterfront destinations and her passion for building mission-driven brands that give back to the people and communities being served, Josalyn continues to be a vital member of the Blue Harbor team, driving innovation and success.
